Class of 1993:
The reunion committee wanted to take this reunion opportunity to engage in something bigger
than just us. Taking an active role in the community and modeling this behavior to others is a vital part of
social development. As a committee, we have decided to support the local chapter of the Wounded
Warrior Project in Colorado Springs.
The sacrifices made by our military members and their families are immense and humbling.
Those who survive combat can return with debilitating injuries, both mental and physical. The
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and
empower wounded warriors. WWP offers a wide range of programs and events in the Colorado
region designed to meet the ongoing needs of injured service members. There are approximately
421,300 veterans in the area.
The committee is currently researching ways in which we can support this program and will
provide details as we approach the date of the reunion. Please take a look at the link provided to learn
more about the WWP and stay tuned for further details on how we can better support this wonderful
organization.
